Description: Kingston Firefighter Pride is a painting that was created after my teenage daughter participated in the Girls in Gear Firefighting program that encourages young girls (and those who identify as girls) to pursue firefighting as a career.  My daughter had a very positive experience and is now on a path to be a firefighter.  I was so inspired by this program that painting the firetruck came easy.  A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this painting will be donated to the "Girls in Gear" program.
